Roaster Collaboration #56 - Martinborough Coffee Company

Wooosh, just like that, we’re halfway through 2022! For June, we’re partnering with the incredible Martinborough Coffee Company!

Martinborough Coffee Company handcraft in small batches, blending ethically sourced, 100% organic Arabica beans, and roast with passion, right in the heart of Martinborough. They started their journey five years ago with a 1 kg roaster, where they operated out of the popular Neighbourhood Coffee House. Since then, they quickly moved up to a new 10kg Roaster and into a new premises at the back of the Coffee House. Their focus is to provide the South Wairarapa and the local espresso culture with quality roasted coffee that they can feel confident in (whilst also supporting local). We’re so proud to share this around NZ this month!

We’re trying their hopscotch coffee. It’s a blend of Colombian and Nicaraguan origin. It’s the most refreshing and delicate coffee on their menu; we get hints of pomegranate sweetness, supported by lemon zest and red apple. It’s well-balanced, full bodied and complex. Enjoy!

Roaster Question

How do you prefer to drink this blend?

"I prefer my Hopscotch black on a Sunday morning in the garden with family and friends."
