Sam, Wes and Pete have been busy since we last chatted with them back in 2024.

-
In December 2025 they opened an espresso bar within their roasting space, serving up coffees, a range of specialty beverages, and baked goods such as pies and cinnamon rolls. It's been going really well so far and they're stoked to see a range of customers from local regulars to travellers who've learned about them online.
-
They have a brand new coffee trailer, and are about to hit event season across the region. Look for them at events like the NZ Open at Millbrook, Warbirds over Wanaka, and the Wanaka A&P Show. Let them know you found out about the events here!
- Whilst doing all this they have continued to serve their fabulous coffee at their HQ as well as growing the community of wholesale customers serving Ryder brews around the Queenstown area. Great work team!

They continue source and roast specialty coffee on Aotearoa's very first and only commercial electric roaster, a Probat P05e and are on a mission to bring delicious coffee to Queenstown and beyond with the least impact on our planet they can! Sustainability is at the heart of their ethos, not just roasting, and they are using home compostable bags and labels for all bags of coffee.

The team at Ryder are back this month to promote their latest blend, Wild Fury Organic. They are proud to now be offering a delicious medium roast blend that's both grown fully organically and roasted on electricity! This blend has notes of Dark Chocolate Wafer, Stonefruit, Spiced Tobacco, Sweet Maple and a Grapefruit finish.
Tell us about your experience with Wild Fury Organic on Facebook or Instagram, and of course head to Ryder Specialty Coffee to learn more about them or take advantage of their generous offer.
