Rush are a boutique roastery specialising in the creation of exceptional coffees. Hayden and Emma began rush in 2006 from a shared passion for coffee. Over time their business has grown. In 2012 Hayden and Emma were joined by daughter Betsy, making Rush a true family business. For something that started initially as a hobby, in a converted garage on the Prujean’s lifestyle block, at 88m² it has expanded quite considerably in recent years! Ethics are fundamentally important to them.
Their beans are sourced from predominantly Fair Trade suppliers - high quality beans produced by growers who receive a fair price. Hayden and Emma sell coffee locally at the Mangawhai Village Market, every Saturday. They grind the beans fresh to order and are always happy to talk coffee!
