January's Brew in Review
January's box comes from one of the greats - Jack’s Coffee, based in Auckland and owned by coffee expert and pioneer David Burton. Jack’s Coffee is in fact named after David’s Father, who’s passion and endless knowledge of coffee, tasting and buying rubbed off on David, who has since played a huge role in the NZ coffee scene. Buying and supplying for 16 years and now roasting some of the freshest coffee you can get your hands on! This month we sampled the Jack’s original blend using beans sourced from the best growing regions in the world. This is one to savour guys, with the on-going layers of flavor and subtle chocolate notes.

January has practically flown by, hasn't it? This month I have been attempting to take better care of my health and wellbeing while also focusing harder on work and studies. It has become increasingly obvious that taking care of oneself is a major part of studies, otherwise, there is a likelihood of burning out. Over January I have been trying out different products to see what helps with my health and wellbeing, both physical and mental.
On the Grind - Subscription Box - $36-59NZD
5/5 Locally Sourced, Fast Delivery, Cost Effective
Finding a reasonably priced, great tasting coffee is hard enough, but getting it delivered to your door is something else. As a coffee fanatic, I figured I would give this subscription box a try and disappointed, I was not.
Personally, I selected the Half Grind (500gm) Espresso Grind pack. It took around 2-3 days for the box to arrive after dispatch. January's box was full of Jack's coffee, two bulging bags of caffeinated goodness. The aroma alone was satisfying but having that first sip was spectacular. The selection of Jack's was a great one. On the Grind has definitely lived up to my expectations, I am eagerly awaiting February's box while sipping away on my Jack's.
