This month we are sharing “Batch 1” from 300 Espresso. 300 Espresso are an Auckland based roaster who reckon they’re “good people, roasting great coffee” and we wholeheartedly agree!

This is their most popular blend made up of carefully chosen A-grade beans from Columbia, Brazil, Guatemala, and PNG. Batch 1 is roasted medium-dark, is well balanced and full bodied with a smooth after taste which makes for a very solid espresso but also cuts through for a very smooth flat white. In our taste test we first picked up nutty chocolate, a hint of floral on the nose, finishing with smooth caramel in the mouth. It suits all brew types, even filter!
