We brought back Matakana for an encore. We originally launched with these guys back in October 2017. Now that we're much bigger than that first month, we thought we'd share them once again. Matakana are one of our personal favourites, and it turns out they're one of yours too!

This months brew is the award winning Matakana Coffee Roaster’s ‘Village Market Blend’. Coffee duo Angela & Lindesay know their stuff as they have been in the business of roasting and winning awards for over 20 years. You may have tried their delicious blend of Brazilian, Kenyan and Guatemalan beans with rich, aromatic tasting notes of nutty caramel and a lingering natural sweetness at the famous Saturday Matakana Farmers Market, where they pump out roughly 1000 cups a day, to eager punters awaiting their coffee fix. 

This team refuses to roast anything but the highest quality of beans in small but frequent batches so your taste buds are in safe hands this month! 

When we taste it we get a well balanced coffee characterised by a nutty caramel sweetness, delivering a smooth aftertaste that lingers beautifully on the palate.
